Step by step

  1. Show examples of wind and solar power.
  2. Groups pick wind or sun and sketch a design.
  3. Build with craft supplies.
  4. Test with a desk fan or outdoor sunlight.
  5. Groups present what worked and what they'd change.

  • • Record persistence when tests fail — extend with a timed 'improve it' round.
  • • Interest in solar? Try melting chocolate in the pizza-box oven next week.
